At Spring Shabu-Shabu, every visit feels like a culinary adventure. Diners can customize their hot pot with a choice from richly layered broths – from the smoky and umami-packed Dashi infused with bonito flakes and kelp, to the bold, spicy Chinese Mala broth with its intoxicating blend of broad bean paste and pork bone base, or the refreshing and gentle Vegetarian Mushroom & Vegetables broth. Each sip of simmering broth sends a wave of comforting warmth, setting the stage for the fresh ingredients to shine.

The seafood selection is a highlight, with beautifully arranged combos featuring tender white fish, plump shrimp, and sweet top neck clams, all bursting with oceanic freshness that perfectly complements the broth. Equally tempting are the buffet items—seasonal vegetables so crisp and vibrant they practically sing with color, delicate dumplings, chewy rice cakes, and an abundance of noodles that soak up the broth's rich essence in every bite.

Spring Shabu-Shabu elevates the hot pot experience with thoughtful touches such as their diverse sauce station, allowing patrons to craft their perfect dipping concoction. The balance of flavors here is mesmerizing—from the fiery, numbing spice of the mala broth mentioned by many patrons, to the mild, savory notes of the pork bone and vegetarian broths. This care in flavor makes each round of cooking at the table feel deeply satisfying and utterly crave-worthy.

The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, with a clean and spacious interior that feels both comfortable and welcoming. Reviews often underline the fast and attentive service that adds to the overall ease of dining—attentive staff quickly explaining how everything works and ensuring no guest's pot sits empty for long. I’ve tried a lot of hotpot places, but this one is truly my number one. Every time I come here, the food is super fresh, the service is fast, and the whole vibe just feels cozy and welcoming. Their mala soup is honestly unmatched — the perfect balance of spicy, flavorful, and comforting. It’s the kind of soup that keeps you coming back because nothing else tastes the same! The ingredients are always high quality, and everything cooks beautifully in the broth. I’ve brought friends here and they end up loving it just as much as I do. The staff is always kind and helpful, especially if you’re unsure what to try. And I HAVE to mention the vanilla + green tea swirl ice cream at the end — it’s my favorite treat! It’s creamy, refreshing, and the perfect finish after a warm hotpot meal. Overall, this place never disappoints. Amazing food, great service, clean environment, and such good value for the quality. Highly, highly recommend to anyone who loves hotpot or wants to try it for the first time!

I had an awesome time here! I went with my brother, cousin and friend skeptical because I wasn’t a fan of hot pot to begin with let alone the area it sit in. Once I went inside my doubts started disappearing one by one. Some days are busier than others but honestly today it was surprising how much room there was and how quiet the place was given it was such a big restaurant with quite a number of cooks and waiters. We waited 5 mins in the front before we sat down and heard what was available today. Before I forget: weekdays 11-3 PM is $20 for the buffet while all other times it’s $23.95. If you look at the menu you will see the options that are available at purchase such as: Meat options exclusive from the buffet option (only thing free is the amount of fish items you can get at the buffet line) chicken, beef, pork, seafood platter, etc. Drinks is its own menu on the back and they have plenty of options for alcohol if you’re into all that. I’m not so i just moved forward to the soft drinks which they have about 10 different options and yes refills are indefinite and free for $3.50 I believe. What hot pot is basically a large bowl of soup depending on the 10 choices available on the menu to you ( I went with kimchi) is cooked on the countertop stove that you can operate on your own with 1 dial that goes from P1 (lowest) - P5 (Highest). You choose whatever you want to take from the buffet line which there are mostly vegetable and noodle items but about 3 sections or 6 rows back to back full of it. Bring it back to your table and throw it in the soup at your own pace whenever you want. I suggest getting the minimum amount to max out your options so you don’t overfill too fast and end up wasting a plateful of food like me. They won’t charge you extra if it’s not too much which they didn’t for me thank god considering my bill was about $30 plus tip so $35. Tip isn’t mandatory but it is common courtesy and manners. There is also an ice cream bar with matcha vanilla and pineapple as the only options but all you can eat included. Honestly it was a really good place to go to and I recommend it for anyone looking to eat seafood in the big apple.

Absolutely an amazing experience with a plethora of fresh vegetables and noodles, beef, fish, lamb sauces, etc. Super clean place, one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever seen, waitress was really attentive and nice, explained how everything worked. Ice cream is really really good. Fresh vegetables don't take long to cook, as well as the meats and fish . Noodles are also pretty fast. I will definitely be going back to this place, and I highly recommend it. Parking is somewhat of a crunch but just be patient, there are places to pay for parking if you're not the type to drive around looking. Price is definitely reasonable for what you get, and how much you can stuff yourself.

This is a great Shabu place : clean , fast service and great food quality. It’s a bit noisy but you can still have conversations without shouting. I’d definitely go again and the ice cream was definitely a great thing to finish off such a great meal Just a side note that the building has two entrances , the one with the stairs is the easiest but if you end up like me in the rear door , no panic, you just need to walk a bit and take the elevator and you will end there

FIRST TIME HERE BUT NOT THE LAST I WILL BE BACK!!!! Food was amazing had many varieties to choose from and they were all good, the facility was clean, and comfortable the environment was perfect I was able to have conversations with my friends without having to scream at the top of my lungs the best part of this experience was our waitress Kelly M, if you get Kelly M as your waitress she will take care of you I promise you you’ll be lucky. She is friendly and pleasant I told her it was my first time at this restaurant and first time having a hot pot experience. She took time to help give me recommendations and insight on the menu because my friend and I have dietary restrictions she was attentive to us always checked up on us, when we were running low on drinks she would realize and without having to ask she would make sure our cups were full. Kelly M was friendly she would talk with us make jokes and she made it feel like a welcoming environment like she was happy to be there, help us, and take time to talk to us too. I can whole heartedly say Kelly M as our waitress for the first time at this restaurant made the experience better we were lucky to have her as our waitress and when we go back we hope to have her as our waitress again cause she’s the best.

A shabu shabu restaurant, everything is all you can eat, the meat and seafood not included pay per order, very big variety of veggies, fish cake and sauce, ice cream is all you can eat as well. Good experience for a weekend lunch.

This is my favorite hot pot in the city! It’s always super clean and you can see all of the food prep right behind the buffet. I’ve never had to wait in line and I love how you can really customize your experience however you like.
